The course surrounds the elements of: Use of industrially sponsored design and project building. A structured design approach. The integration of product and manufacturing process design. Multi-disciplinary student design teams. Emphasis on Engineering, people and team skills. Outcomes The purpose of the Capstone Program is to: Prepare students with a design methodology that allows them to successfully merge and execute design and manufacturing projects in a cross-functional group setting. Allow the practice of engineering using interdisciplinary approach.
