Dr.
Wells is the New Department Chair
The Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at NDSU
has hired Dr. David L. Wells for the position of Department Chair.
He will be taking charge later this January. He used to be the
Academic Dean for Center for Advanced Technologies, Focus: HOPE
in Detroit. Prior to that, he worked for University of
Cincinnati, Southern State (Ohio) College, SRD Manufacturing
Corporation, Universal Technology Corporation, Office of the
Secretary of the Air Force, U. S Air Force, General Electric
Company, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company.

Appointment:
Dr. David L. Wells has been appointed as the new
department chair, starting Spring 2000.
Advice: A new Advising Area has been added to aid students in registration decisions and to pass on curriculum information, such as the IME Undergraduate Student Handbook.
